Book 2: Welcome To The Kingdom

I've been in the Kingdom for 12 days now and I've been very bad about getting some pictures up so I'll walk you through some pictures from my life here.

My bedroom.  Notice the bed is made.  Amanda isnt allowed here so that means that I must have maid service because she is the only person that ever inspires me to make the bed.

I have a TV. I've turned it on once, but mostly am reading a lot at night... I also have Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Instant Video so I can't claim to be too proud of my reading.

Fridge gets refilled with water regularly, the sodas were complimentary but I've only had 1 and they arent re-stocking.  In Africa we'd have mixed those juice boxes with Waragi and had party... no such luck here.

And the three things that make Saudi Arabia better than Africa, toilet, shower, and hot water heater.

This is not Saudi Arabia.  This is brunch at the Francis Marion in Charleston. I miss it so much.

Kind of wish I was building something like this in Charleston or an equivalently awesome city right now.

The scenery sure isnt much. Lots of sand. The man camp is a ghost town on the off day (Fridays).  And it is ungodly bright outside after being inside all day.

My ride. The Crown Vic. Kind of makes me want to say "I'm not a cop" in a thick boston accent.

Typical meal at the mess hall.

What picks me up after a long hard day.

And then there's the woman I dream about each night.
